I suppose the issues are high milage & sagging suspension, cost of maintenance or driving satisfaction! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Hi

Please let us know how the Lanoguard goes on as I am interested in doing this myself.

Thanks
Dave

Well finally got around to using the language I bought all that time ago.
Fair play it was easy to use, concentrated on rear subframe area after comments at MOT time ref rust. Still all solid thankfully so pained with converter and once dry (not long with current temp) on with the lanoguard. Injector want inside as much as possible then a good coating over the rest. Used about 1 litre so plenty left for top up and didn't touch the grease at all.
Definitely looks better under there now so time will tell how effective it is. Andrew

Scotland 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

I have just had my 2010 HSE Auto totally done by Preserve and Protect in Johnstone.
Full zDinitrol process.
The y had the car for a week, Fair bit of rust. Cleaned an wire brushed. Undercoat and top coat and wax finish, cavities done.
I am no 80 and have had the Freelander a year now after 17 years of D1 and D2. Spent the money as this will likely be my last car. Did recent trip to Ardnamurchan and Applecross. Car was perfect.
Will try an put some photos up of the process but not my strong point.
Miss the D2 but love the Freelander. Jim A

That’s a superb job Jim.
Wished I’d taken a little more care of mine, the dreaded rust mite has struck near the rear wheel/door area.

When I had my Disco I wax-oiled underneath a couple of times but never seemed to have the time with the Freelander, more’s the pity. Rolling Eyes
Hopefully it’ll last now. Back in the fold after 8 yrs. V8 Disco 300 series-Gone.07 Freelander 2 HSE Auto Rimini Red.

Hi Pradd, the cost was £750 inc vat. The company is “Preserve and Protect” in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.
Current price is about £850 for medium vehicles and last week he was looking at new orders coming in at end of September. Have a look at his website. He has four bays in use at a time, lots of high end cars waiting including. Brand new Defender. Takes a week to do properly. I did it as being nearly 81 I expect this will be my last car. Jim A
