On the strength of this post I ordered a Duster rear wipe arm. It arrived today.
Guess what?
Doesn’t fit. Nowhere near.
And I threw away the packaging.
Thankfully it was only £9.95.
Pity though. It really looked a lot better than the original

Strange as mine was a straight fit as i tested the 1 from my wife's Duster 1st. Hers is a 2014 model.

Hi Mat.
I managed to modify it to get it on eventually.
Looks much better. The sun faded pivot end of the original had always irritated me.

I had been looking at putting a winch onto my Freelander. Looked at the 1 from Muddymods but with import shipping etc was just not economical. I approached a fabrication company here in South Africa with the idea and they were willing to work with me. We discussed the concept and got the ball rolling last year November. It is eventually complete and on the car after alot of CAD drawings and testing. This is the final design they came up with.

I must say i am happy with the results and am also working with them now to do rock sliders and a rear ladder next.

I like reading your posts. You do things which I like and they are not just 'bolt-on-bits'.

Well done, that man !!!!
