Specialist Recommendations

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any recommendations of specialists a couple of hours or so away from Northamptonshire? Before anyone mentions Bell Engineering I know about them but they are mega busy. So recommend away... Thumbs Up

I'm mainly asking for 4x4 specialist in general but I am looking for specialist for drivetrain/Haldex issues in particular. Thanks for your suggestion, I'll check them out. I'd much rather spend my money with a small garage rather than a big chain. Thumbs Up

Why does everyone think that a specialist is required to work on these vehicles?

It depends on what you define a specialist as. If someone knows Freelanders inside and out, has a set of ramps or a pit and has the tools required then that to me is a specialist. To me, they don't have to be a big business or have a massive garage.

I'd much rather put my hard earned money into the pocket of a one man band or indie garage that knows what they are doing rather than a big corporation like JLR where there is no above and beyond when carrying out work.

Most garages around me don't worry or care if a FL2 has the same tyres on each of the corners or what a Haldex does and how to service it properly. Very Happy

I can now personally recommend FreelanderSpecialist.com over in Methwold after they did a Haldex change on my FL2. Very friendly, helpful and super professional and know Freelanders inside and out.
