2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

Help Key Not Recognised

Got a doc appointment at 10.00
Message key not recognised
Got in via emergency key but still not recognised.
Disconnected the battery for 3mins, still no joy.
Any suggestions 🤔

Could be battery in fob have you got another key ? Maybe get a taxi and sort it later I know docs don’t like you missing appointments.

Both key fobs not being recognised
Taxi will be needed in 15mins if not fixed

That would be the first thing I’d check / replace too. Bog standard C2032 - cheap as chips and sold in most shops that stock batteries,
