Freelander 2 Does not go when you press the pedal

Hello
My Freelander 2 car moves slowly when the brake is released, with the first launch gear in d and r position, but it does not eat the gas when the pedal is pressed, it goes like idle. It will improve when you repeat it or when you press the pedal a little too hard. where do you think the problem

When it happens does the battery light come on ? Does it go away if you turn of and restart ? Quite common.

I'll check the fuel filter and battery light. When I press the pedal for the second time, the vehicle becomes normal.

Mine does this if you put it into drive too quickly sometimes. The fuel gauge shows zero too. Pop it back into park for a sec and it wakes up and works properly.

Yes, the fault has occurred again. Battery light is on. After waiting for a while, it ends and returns to normal. I wonder if your throttle butterfly does it when it's dirty?

it also happens to me at times.

I think it happens when we dont give the vehicle enough time to communicate with all the body control units.

The best seems to push the start button and wait until communication is up and push the start button a second time to ignite.

Detracts, just read this. As a new owner I have found by just pushing the start button to do a check then again with foot on brake the engine starts immediately.

This is how I was trained to start a vehicle,
Ignition on,
Check all warning lights,
then start engine,
a standard safety check on start up but it allows time for all the various control units to
talk to each other. DAVE.

Twice today i have had the hesitant "go".
starts immediately on button, no throttle wait a wee while and evryuthing ok.
Once the battery light was on but not on the othertime.
battery check shows 12.71 engine off 14 67 engine on idle.
Is this something we have to live with? Jim A

I changed the fuel and oil filters and the problem is gone.
