Steering Angle Sensor

Hi can anyone help please
I have a 2008 Freelandeer2 TD4 2.2, I have a all terrain system fault warning light displayed, having plugged in the diagnosis tool it cam e up with steering angle fault, having wiped all faults and reset the steering angle, with the steering wheel central the slightest movement of the wheel triggers the same fault and a value of 720 degrees out.

I am thinking it is the steering angle sensor but cannot find the part number for this vehicle, I am also getting a clunk from the rear when driving, could all this be linked to the sensor?

Any help with advice or part numbers / price would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Keith

I am sure my code reader can re-set the steering angle module

hi Thanks for that, mine clears the fault and I carried the re calibration process but the slightest movement on the steering wheel the fault reoccurs and the readings say calibration is out by 700 degrees, I am thinking the sensor is faulty ?

I had a similar problem with a Vauxhall steering angle sensor just the other month. As soon as I moved the wheel it jumped to 1500 counts. Turned out to be the sensor.
