Free Landrover experience

A couple of days ago I received an invitation for a free LandRover Experience at any of their centres. I last went on one in 2017 when I bought my current FL2 so I was wondering if anyone else has been offered one recently? I have to respond by the 28th May. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Ive just had my free off road day a week ago at Eastnor Castle.

Very much worth the free visit Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

turn up about an hour before your booked time, book in with the guy with a clipboard, then get called forward for the covid swab test. Pick up free coffee and biscuits on the way back to your car. They then come to you, show you the car youll be driving and give you a quick talk through.
There are no instructors in the car with you, all comms instructions etc are given via a radio and you can have up to 2 other people in with you, with opportunities to swap drivers, providing you have all done the pre visit license checks etc.

its free, well organised and a great afternoon out (approx 3 hours).... whats not to love Very Happy (even if you have no intention of buying a new LR/RR)

Had you registered an interest in buying a car, or even just registered for details?

It's just that I have had 2 freebee LR Experiences over the years, and would not mind a 3rd. Any hints on becoming visable to LR welcome! FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

I got my D4 service and belts done at main dealer in October 2019 and in October last year i got the email with the free voucher, id not been back to them since my 1st visit.
My booking at LRE got postponed due to the New Year lockdown this year but they emailed back once they knew their new opening date so i could rebook

maybe bite the bullet and get yours serviced at LR (on the 3+ scheme if they still do it otherwise your still paying for the 'free voucher' through LR servicing full prices)

I did get the car serviced at a LR dealer in March (3+ scheme) so could be related to that I suppose and I have bought cars from the same dealer n the past. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

go for it, its a great day out if nothing else Thumbs Up

when i was at Eastnor there were 3 weird beige Toyota pick ups parked up, so i reversed in next them to wait for my call forward.
While we were waiting 3 or 4 more of these pick ups came into the courtyard, swung round the circuit and indicated that i was taking their space so i happily moved out the way as it was obvious id pinched their spot....... turned out it was a certain fleet of the local saturday and sunday boys Laughing

sounded like they were a 3.0L 6cyl engine with jacked up suspension, angular front body work and canvas backs. Looked serious bits of kit

Had a free 1/2 day in a Discovery 3 when they were current, amazing to see their capabilities which I'm sure 95% of owners never use. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Had a couple of Eastner trips in 2001 - both very wet & muddy - around the time I bought a TD5 IIRC

Reminds me of an official brochure picture of a RR classic on the jungle track, up to its bonnet in water and mud, had that on my wall as a kid in the early 80's 🙂 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

We went on our freebie driving day at Honiton today in a brand new Discovery 5, it did feel quite odd driving a 75k car with only 350 miles on it through mud, deep water and over rocks but the car felt very at home and never once struggled in any way, the tech on board is astonishing Thumbs Up
