Random Beeping after transfer case repair

As the title suggests: had the transfer case repaired (new bearing/s) after 100K on my 2014 petrol Freelander 2.

The car appears to be going great BUT since the repair, the vehicle exhibits random "Beeping". Can be up to 18 beeps or as little as 4 beeps... and numbers in between.

Comes from the dashboard but no warning lights associated with the sound.

Unpredictably, I drive for 20kms and nothing, or just 3kms (from cold) and it beeps. Does not seem to relate to any specific environment nor terrain... but only suburban roads, so far.

Happens when the vehicle is traveling at suburban speeds or even slowly (not tested on freeways since the issue arose).

The beeps themselves sound "lightweight" (even tinny) and have never been heard before in the vehicle.

The local garage, through which I had the repair done, has looked for error messages with the plugged-in computer (probs has a special name i dont know)... but after several resets, there are no messages since the last 4 incidents.

Would appreciate any thoughts.

Cheers
