Squeaky Powerfold Door Mirror

The passenger door mirror has taken to squeaking when folding in. Is this purely a lubrication requirement, and if so, what kind, or an audible indication of future failure ? LR2 SD4 GS

It could be just that it could be on the way out but try extending it fully both ways and squirt a load silicon based lubricant not WD 40 and it may well improve Thumbs Up

You need to spray it with GT85.

Yes that’s got silicone in it available in lots of the cheaper shops Home Bargains etc.
