Investigating clutch issue found this

Hi guys, had the clutch disappear into the floor on me, appears to be little loss of fluid from the reservoir, so initial hypothesis is master cylinder or then the slave, but while looking around I found this hole, it feels sharp and when the engine is running it’s leaking oily water, is it a factor?

Is that the gearbox I can’t tell ? Could the damage have been caused by a trolley Jack ?

I've never jacked it there, but could be. Only noticed it because liquid was leaking from there, and only after this clutch failure. That is the sump tank next to it.

Do you mean the "D" shaped hole in the bottom of the bell housing ?
If so, then that's normal .
You can see it in this pic. To the left of the number 13

BTW I think your concentric clutch slave is leaking if oily liquid is coming out of the bell housing and your clutch has failed. Jules

Thanks Jules, thought it was normal but it felt like it had some Burrs on it so wasn’t sure. I do believe the problem is my slave cylinder, after taking off the reservoir cleaning that out, bizarrely the outlet to the clutch hoses were partially blocked, then pumped the clutch a few times I now have that new dot 4 coming out of the hole.
