I wondered if anyone has come across this before, after driving for a hour 'reduced engine performance' warning came up, after 90 mins breakdown mechanic plugged it into his scanner, unable to find any fault cleared the light and sent me on my way.
warning came back on 15mins later and after 60mins waiting for another mechanic, the engine cooled down and light had gone out.
I've since seen in the day light oil/viscous fluid leaking from the fan hub, my guess is a new fan is required but wouldnt mind any thoughts before buying parts

EGR would be my bet.
