2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Barolo Black
Snooper 2000DAB

Hi
Had a search and can’t see a topic for snooper.

Just wondering if anyone has come across a snooper 2000 DAB and could give me a bit of info about there use.

Just got a 2010 FR2 so no DAB but had a Snooper controls unit Velcrod to the dash which I didn’t know what it was for until today .
I found a box in the bootwell with “snooper “ on it with a lead that plunges into a cigar lighter and a areal wire.
Quick google and found it’s a DAB ,
I found the manual online which tells you how to fit it to car (quite simple ) but doesn’t tell you how to get it to work with the radio ..

https://www.snooperneo.co.uk/UserManuals/DAB2000.pdf

Iv plugged it in and tried the aux setting but nothing , I think it should connect wireless to the radio somehow but the manual doesn’t say how .
Has anyone had one or knows how to connect it to the radio.

Thanks

Used to have one of these on a previous car.

The unit in boot supplies the dab output on an FM signal that you tune car radio to. Doesn't connect to aux.
Unit on dash is to control dab receiver. Andy

You have to tune the radio to the DAB unit .
