The thread of the lockdown bolt is a double pitch thread, so don't use a bolt from the hardware store or you strip the thread.

Why not have spare wheel & compressor. The jack just fits in the space outside the wheel.

I recently acquired a matching alloy wheel to use as a spare instead of the steel wheel with the odd sized tyre. I haven’t yet got round to getting a tyre for it but I can say with certainty that I would be wholly unable to extract it from the boot if needed! I’d have to call the breakdown service. My reason for going to the bother of a matching wheel and tyres was that if I got a puncture while towing my car trailer, I would not want to use the odd sized spare for any distance. I would much prefer to have the matching wheel fitted. The punctured tyre could hopefully then be repaired without the additional hassle of refitting it straightaway.

If it's the right size and you're close enough.
