ECM starting signals order

1. Normal function. Put the fob in, wheel unlocked, Ignition module send "wake up guys" signal to ECM. Push start stop button, all modules wake up, icons lit in the dash, "system check in progress" ECM heats the glow plugs, than if the cluch is depress, energises starter relay which send 12V to the solenoid. Motor starts cranking.
2. Same protocol, no clutch pedal depress , no action. Push for the seccond time start button, "depress clutch pedal" message show on screen, no crank.
3. Put the fob, wheel unlocked, push start button, modules wake up, go to BJB push by had start relay, motor cranks an idle.
Question: At what time of starting sequence ECM enables the injectors ? Before, in the same time or after crank command ?

Thank you

The ECM will only initiate the injectors, once it receives crank position information from the crank and cam sensors. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. My daily driver.

Ok, and what time do ECM open injector ? crank and camshaft sensors are HALL sensor, This means that a 5 V must reach them first. Lets assume that both sensors send a LOW signal to the ECM because the engine is still. Which injector should be open first ? ECM DOES NT KNOW. My guess is that engine must crank a few time for The ECM to receive a HIGH signal form the two sensors. HIGH signals tells ECM the right order to open the injectors. So, engine cranks before any injector is enabled. Thank you. Thumbs Up

The engine has to crank over a few revolutions, so the ECM can identify the firing sequence, then injection is initiated. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. My daily driver.
