Hi all

Please help... my drivers seat is driving me mad!!! It squeaks and creeks as I move about on it but I cannot find the source and I cannot reproduce the sound when I'm looking under the seat as it needs my (admittedly 15st) bodyweight on it to make the noise.

I have tried smearing furniture polish along the various edges where the seat covering meets plastic or metal to no avail. It is driving me crazy!!!

Would anyone else happen to have had this issue and managed to solve it?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have a similar problem. My issue is the safety belt catch. When locked in place, any slight movement and the catch bolted to the seat creaks. If I hold the catch it's quiet. Have not got an answer to it. Hopefully somebody on here can help us.

Mine is silent, but I get a slight forward movement when I brake, and a slight rearward movement when I accelerate. I'm thinking there must be some play in the gearbox, or on the rack. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
