Opie Oils’ discount

I’ve been using the “freel2” code to get 10% discount with Opie Oils for a few years now, but when I entered the code earlier this week it wouldn’t accept it. Is there a new code that I should use, or are they no longer giving us discount?

Just noticed that the site now carries an Amazon ad for engine oils, so I guess that explains why Opieoils aren’t giving us discount anymore. Personally, I make a point of buying from smaller retailers whenever I can and Opieoils are still competitive, even w/o the discount.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

I ordered an oil and filter kit from Opie on Monday . They were offering £10 off on orders over £60 and £15 off orders over 90 , so better than the forum 10% on my order . I phoned to see if they had the correct glow plugs in stock as well ( they didn’t ) , but the really friendly guy on the phone reminded me to use the discount code when I placed the oil order online . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Thanks Martyn. I need a few tthings for my other car, so I’ll make use of tha offer. Maybe their system was having an off day when it rejected the freel2 code - although it did accept another car club code that I use.

You still get discount, the code had expired.

It ok again now so the FREEL2 code will work just fine from now on Thumbs Up

Cheers,

The code FREEL2 in capitals does work, unfortunately the site was having a hissy fit and kept freezing on the pay button (PayPal issue?)
Anyway gave them a ring, code works on the phone AND it was slightly cheaper Very Happy Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Now the bad news, all codes on Opie oils are now defunct - even the staff ones

Been on the phone yesterday trying to get the oil a little cheaper. Very Happy Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
