England 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Sorry i was wrong, it's 525hp not 500.

https://www.carwow.co.uk/news/4730/new-lan...lease-date

Knew i had seen it somewhere, i know it's not confirmed by LR. Common sense isn't very common.

It’s the SVR model or whatever they choose to call it. Pretty much the same as a Defender X spec wise.

Doh, ruin my dream Big Cry

Love my i6 so i could live with it, although it being heavier it wont be as quick unless they have strapped a turbo to it. Common sense isn't very common.

Would be a nice “bow out” to ICE before they become unavailable new........might be our last new car......hmmm.....have to think of a way to convince Mrs BB it’s cheaper to run than our present EV Rolling with laughter Regards

Not sure which is the better, OVERFINCH or the 525.

https://www.overfinch.com/models/defender-2020/

Overfinch doesn't have the 'blue' brake calipers. ".... notably the quad exhausts and unique 22-inch wheels with blue brake calipers at the front"

My sons are both Porsche 911 fans. One has just bought a 1995 911 model 993, the last of the air cooled models. Immaculate condition 75k miles and only £60k and is very fast and responsive. It's a bit like stepping back in time in that you have to put the key in the door to unlock it and there is no fancy electronic display. Just dials and somewhere to put the ignition key in. Like most of these cars it's a flat 6 with two spark plugs per cylinder, two distributors and needs over 12 litres of oil !. His argument is that it doesn't need a fancy diagnostic machine to fix and that it will probably retain it's value better than a newer one.

I can't see a 25 year old FL2 at that sort of price but a mint condition pre 2015 old Defender without the fancy electronics could be on it's way to that sort of iconic status. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
