All the mods I have done, as any Land Rover is a blank canvas to enhance that model to meet your own requirements, as each owner has their own ideas with what suits them .......... others wash & polish theirs. |

the ladder for the rear tailgate was made by Mantec (now gone bust) one sold on eBay recently for £150.

Without doubt the best mod for anyone who is cursed with HB3 headlamp bulbs. The difference is literally like night and day! I stand on the rear wheel - a great perch and you get lots of reach. I sometimes use the front wheel also, and cheat with a knee on the rear of the bonnet. I may try using the front window sill soon. MY11 SD4 SE Auto |

I stand on the rear wheel, & if I need to get on the roof to release the second spare wheel, I put a foot on the door catch, open the tailgate so you have a handle as well, it's not too difficult to get up top.
