Hi everyone. Got a problem with my Freelander 2.
When I insert the key fob, the steering won't unlock and when pushing the start button, the dash doesn't light up.
Is this a fault with the fob, the reader or possibly the start button?

Sounds like the keys gone flat to me have you another you can try ?

Does the key unlock all the doors?

Sometimes the system can latch up (like the computer that I am writing this from)

To get the system to unlatch you wan the voltage to go the zero volts.

Remove the lead from the battery and allow the LR2 to sit for 30 minutes.

If you have a charger this is a good opportunity to charge the battery.

Reconnect the battery and try again. Same result????
