Turbo Actuator Clip

Been messing around with the sticky turbo again, will explain in another post, lost the actuator clip. Thought my solution could help others as this little sod is easily lost. Found that a 5mm E-clip is a perfect replacement and very cheap. As I wasn't completely certain what size it was ordered an assortment from eBay. Box of 120 for £4.39 which include 20 of each size.
Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

I recently lost a clip just like that off my chain saw while cleaning it on the patio. I searched for about an hour and eventually went in the house and ordered exactly the same box of clips as you off ebay. I then went outside and immediately saw the clip on the floor. So now I have 120 clips in a sealed box which will probably never be opened. Sod's Law prevails. Surprised 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Thought I should update this thread.
Found the lost clip on the garage floor. Rolling Eyes

Mrs. Gasman has come up with an idea to help prevent its loss again.
Tie a small length of cotton thread to it when replacing. that way it is easier to find if you drop it.
Also you can just leave it attached for future removal as it does not foul anything. Thumbs Up
