Boot Floor Red Hook Clip

Morning all,

Anyone know where I can source a red boot floor clip that attaches to the strap to hang on the door frame?

It was not present when I bought the car & as it was my first FL2 & didn't notice it was missing until a saw pictures on here showing the clip.

I thought no problem I'll pick one up secondhand or on the bay, however I haven't seen one anywhere.

So any suggestions where to source one or if anyone has knocking about and would looking to sell, would be appreciated.

It doesn’t have to be the red hook you can use any hook thing that you can attach and will fit on the lip at the top of the rear door frame.

I did think about fabricating something out of a wire coat hanger, but concluded it would look a bit Mickey mouse (first world problems I know Rolling Eyes).

Just wanted to keep the vehicle as stock & thought it would be simple enough to obtain an original replacement, but alas not.

Yes I’ve just had a look online at EBay and other places and there appears to be nothing don’t you just miss the old time walk in scrap yards ?

Hi I think you will find the LR part number is LR018597 and if you google it there are several available anbout £7 shows as coming complete with strap.

Hi, this is an old post so i'm not expecting a reply but just in case............... I'm a new owner and trying to figure out why i have a red hook attached to a strap under my boot floor, what's it for?

didnt realize they ere separate to the loop for pulling the board up, i am also missing the hook must remove the strap!! lol
