What I bought my Freelander for Christmas.

After 7 years without a spare, finally got round to finding a cheap matching wheel.
Along with said wheel, Trolley Jack, Wheel removing tool, New set of bolts, centre caps, (Bargain £6 on Preloved) and to finish, Ceramic coating.
One of my least favourite jobs is cleaning the wheels, so I'm hoping this ceramic coating will make the job a whole lot easier.
I shall report back once I've cleaned the wheels a couple of times.
Reason to buy the spare is I'm doing 1 wheel at a time off the car not only to be able to do a better job but the instructions are to keep out of the elements for 6 hours.
As we are into another lock down shall be starting tomorrow providing it's not chucking it down.

I cut down an old 1/2" socket extension and stick it in the end of my cordless drill. I filed some flats so the chuck wouldnt slip.
I use it all the time for spinning nuts and bolts after loosening them with a ratchet.
I did the same for my 3/8" set as well. Jules

I use the cordless drill also

But I have a set of these

Good luck

Paul

PS I am not against making my own tools with a Grinder and some files but If I can buy something made for the purpose I do go that route. I did make my own tool to loosen the radiator drain plug because it needed to be done and I didn't have the time to wait for a tool to show up.

Not the best start to find black containers. Now I don't consider myself to be the, "Sharpest Tool in the box", having left school at 15 with a, cycling proficiency certificate, but I would have used transparent containers with 3 marker guides to show how much you can spread over 4 wheels.
I think the designers were in touch with their, "Feminine Side", looks more like, Shampoo & Conditioner.

Or if you are the designer, I know I'll put it in black bottles so the customer uses to much on one or two wheels and has to buy another kit!
