cambelt change

Other than genuine L/R cambelt kit what is the best after market kit to use, I have used Gates kit on non Freelanders before (this being our first Land Rover) I have also seen Dayco kits as well
All help will be much appreciated

LR dont make belts or water pumps they used Gates kits as factory fit.

Gates or Dayco

Used both in the past

If you opt for Gates, double check the Allen screw in the pump casing is tight. Seen a few of them loose

Had problems with Dayco.................... noisy belt after a few thousand miles.
