Would be interested to know if the final price WBAC offered was different to the price quoted by their computer?

Rumour has it they always knock you down.

It was a good bit less, but then I hadn't put all the marks etc on the website as many more showed up after I cleaned it all up. I had always assumed it would be less than the initial valuation as every mark is counted. I still think I got a fair price for a 10 year old 82k miles well used Landy. Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental

Wouldn't swap my FL2 for the original Disco Sport, but the latest 2020 facelift is a big improvement and would sway me. Interior cabin is so much nicer, as is all the extra tech. Enjoy!

I had an original DS when my FL2 was in getting work done and I wasn't impressed. But the cabin in this one is just lovely. It's also a much smoother ride which is a nice change.

But yes, the toys. The toys! Lovely huge touchscreen, every safety option under the sun, heated everything and probably other things I haven't spotted yet. Learned to drive in 2011.

You could argue that it's about time that LR caught up with the Japanese and Korean cars which have been delivering lots of tech for some years. My wife's Suzuki Swift (£17k new) has just about everything you can think of eg collision warning, lane change drift warning and assist, adaptive cruise control, LED headlights with auto dip, paddle shift, torque and power readouts, reversing cameras, TPMS etc etc It was only when she got this that I realised how far behind the FL2 and earlier DS was. I guess that it's getting cheaper to add all of this stuff so that it's now available on a city runabout. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Not just things from the far East.

My Fiesta has heated seats & lumbar support, heated steering wheel, auto dimming mirror, reverse camera, Sat Nav, android Auto, heated windscreen, LED lights, Quaife LSD, clever door protectors that pop out when you open the doors, launch control, cylinder shut down, stop/start Jules

Which if plotted as an exponential curve gives a 3 year retained value of about 64% Jules
