I have HID Xenon lamps and the ns one spends most of the winter months with a mist of condensation.
I know the handbook mentions this and fair play it does not affect performance but looks unattractive.
Has anybody else come across as such a long term problem?
As it only affects the ns I think it may be caused by driving through standing water at the edge of the rural roads round here. The cold water flying up hits the warm lamp and causes condensation ? At this time of year there is insufficient warmth to evaporate the moisture. As the weather warms up it gradually disappears until the following winter? Does this seem plausible?

not had it with our FL2

but

our other car does it at this time of year with LED headlights and when the dealer says They all do that sir, they really do

Although when the RRS we had suffered with it in the Rear light cluster that was change under warranty

Think its to do with the headlights being vented so it comes and goes (comes in the Autumn and goes in the spring )

Does your FL2 have Xenons?

I had much the same problem on my D2,
I replaced the the ventilation valves and all good afterwards.
So would not the freelander have a simular set up?

I had condensation in a rear light the plastic had separated on the edge a bit of black silicone sorted it.

No condensation but a dead wasp - how did that get in there? MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
