HORN VERY QUIET

My FL2 HORN/HOOTER call it what you will is more likely to make you laugh Rolling Eyes than Jump its more of a peep peep
has anyone else had this if so what did you do?bin and get another?

P38 v8 auto no problems,great howle from exhausts when giving it welly
Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car.
1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum.
2nd Tdv6 se auto epb
3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite.

if you do go for a replacement, make sure you get the horn with the correct connector, as there were two types.

Might not be very helpful but I understand that Swiss cows have bells fitted when their horns don't work. Smile 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

So ref the 2 different connectors are there 2 different hooters then ? Ie early or facelift models

When I had the front off my 2011 facelift I could only find one hooter in there

You must have amazing brakes in that when you slam them on the front falls off Shocked Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter gone

Ta for that I notice an awful lot of their stuff has no stock,but will check my connections and may end up at breakers Rolling Eyes
certainly not paying stealer prices
Dorset I looked at cowbells on fleabay they are very heavy and expensive and I have to keep the window open to work the bloody thing Shocked Whistle
