Hello I have just done a oil change on my transmission by disconnectind the oil cooler pipe and pouring oil in the filling plug got it to the correct level but now a day later I have a clunk when I put it into drive. It was ok yesterday when I went out to warm up the oil I did need to add 1.5 litres not sure if this would effect it. And when I say clunk I mean it lurchs forward a bit and makes a noise.. It Ais cheap smith and alan oil as I can not afford the good stuff yet and I am looking to change it in a few months..

There is nothing wrong with Smith and Allan products I and friends have been using them for years they have been going since 1925 so know what they are doing check their website i have used their ATF3309 on 2 freelander/2s no problem as have friends (members of this forum)

They produce excellent quality products at a great price

If you are happy to be ripped off by the big brands then fine go for it

They also have an excellent technical dept who respond quickly
Just sharing my experience about them, i have no shares or personal interests in the company etc
