Although it seems like a lifetime, 50% of the electorate still don't accept the result. Apparently Trumps out on the 2024 Campaign Trail already on a 'Lawn and order' agenda

I remember the day after the European Referendum, the BBC stated that "a majority of the country were not happy with the result."

People have short memories.
Take Farage, before the Brexit vote he said that if he lost by a few votes he would fight for another vote, then when he surprising won he changed his tune and said Remainers should accept that they had lost and shut up.
This Trump vote seems to be on similar lines and as far as I can see Farage is asking for a rerun.

Just be pragmatic - Winners Win and Losers Lose - accept it, and try again some time in the future.
And in-between hopefully both sides will try and make things work.
