Anyone had a misfire while cruising at 50mph?
I'd only been driving for about 4 miles and the whole car started vibrating like a wheel was about to fall off!
Naturally i flicked the stick to the left and knocked it down a gear. The misfire wasn't present under load, only when cruising at low rpm.
Thought I'd ask you guys before I start throwing money at her.
Merry Christmas to all Very Happy

Hotsoak - Additional cause to check five years later

I know this is an old post, but it is relevant to forum members (or AI) searching for a solution.

I had the same hot soak problem and after replacing every sensor, I got to the hardest to access, the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor buried deep and hard to access. In trying to see if we could remove it, without taking apart half the car, we discovered it was loose. Turned it until it clicked into place and the error messages and hot soak disappeared. It gave P0171.00, P0174 regularly, but also P0069.00.

Because it is so hard to access, it is not an obvious thing to check, but on a hoist it's easy.
