England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

Censored disgraceful, LR acknowledge this to be a fault and advise dealers how to try to effect a repair but then stress they're not to order replacement units. They even go as far as using Belgium as the 'sample country' ffs

Mines out of date, doesn't recognise when I'm on the new, NDR, 4 miles from home just comes up as a field. If I could update for £25 I'd do it, otherwise I'll live with it.

I use the NDR every day and couldn’t put up with it anymore, just updated my MY13 to the latest maps

I've just bought an 'updated' disc from Satnavishop. In fact it's the second one I've had from them.
Apart from them changing the payment process and making it hard to pay, the new disc doesn't seem to be that much different to the old one.
E.g. coming off the M1 South at J24a onto the A50, the old roundabout was removed about three years or so ago, but it's still showing on the Satnav. There were other minor bits too, mainly traffic islands, on a 300 mile round trip, that weren't up to date.

England

You are never going to get an up to date sat nav map, the road change first has to go to Google and be verified, Google will update its maps and possibly inform the sat nav mapping companies, they will then verify the changes and update their maps and publish at their convenience, basically 18 months if you are lucky on a major change, but the M74 extension in Glasgow took over 2 years before it changed on City Maps and that was a major change and took nearly 5 years, so it wasn't for lack of notice. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.
