So if any one has any experience of the petrol or diesel ones I would love to hear you views and experiences thanks

I’m quite happy with my 2.2 Dynamic Lux. Certainly no noisier than my old FL2. Have you tried this forum. https://www.evoqueownersclub.co.uk/forums/ Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

After my neighbour's experience with oil dilution on a late 2018 DS after 4k miles I wouldn't touch a diesel ingenium. But you might be lucky Smile 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

I don’t think I’d ever buy a diesel engined car that needs addblue to meet emission regulations. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Possibly the most biased person I know as I hate the Ewok, but

We had a 2016 Disco Sport with the Ignium engine and oil dilution, it would raise the oil level from midway to maximum in 10,000 miles. Now this really isn't a problem if you were going to change the oil every 10k as I did, and it's a nice engine, smooth quiet, torquey and fuel efficient - compared to out FL2 which rarely managed 30mpg the DS was easily managing 35mpg on the same runs at the same speed. Moral of this tale is don't under any circumstances stick to LR ridiculous 21k between services.

We now have a 2018 DS with the ignium engine but 240bhp - no oil dilution, but boy does she like adblue (Cornwall and back with the caravan, bit(lot) of running around so lets say 900miles = 4 litres of adblue, normally 1,000 miles per litre.
The old DS was forever (twice a week at least) doing an active regen where she shoved fuel into the exhaust via the cylinders (hence oil dilution), the new DS just doesn't.

The Ewok by the way, has a boot that does seem comparable to the FL2, and if you avoid the pauper (Pure & Pure Tech) versions aren't badly kitted out. We went for the 2.2 engine and autobox, but IMHO previous owner had it chipped, death trap, but LR Manchester admitted it had a fault but couldn't (be bothered) to find it, so sold the car 6 months later and was happy to lose £8k for the sake of safety. TAKE A LONG TEST DRIVE Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
