Once you release the window, obviously, you should have enough space to rise the window glass from its catches so lowering the window was supposed to be the first thing to do.

As you have the trim removed, reconnect all the electronics and lower the window up to a point you can easily unclip the glass from its catches.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver

I can ease the front white clip as I can get my hand to it from the speaker apperture. I've used a plastic wedge to stop it falling back in. But I cannot get access to the rear yellow one. That's where I think the special tool is required in order to prise it open from above whilst pulling up.

The only video that touches on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYgRErBL4kw just mentions it without showing how he got to the clips.

Update: One last go and it's done Watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFpAoNfHqhg I saw I could get my left arm right in to the speaker port to access both clips. Easy when you know how. Freelander 2 2010 [MY2011] FA 2.2 TD4 XS
