2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

[For Sale] 06 plate non-runner

Colleague at works 06 plate died on way home from holiday. Non runner, very little other detail to hand at present but said I’d stick a note on here should anyone be interested. Believe it’s been posted on car sites for £350

Seems its been sold; her husband was along the garage sorting it out, when a guy walking by made him an offer to take it off his hands

Car wasn’t sold - it’s an 06 TD4 - all there, apart from an engine that goes Even got a spare wheel bolted to the back door
It’s in Essex

06 plate, TD4, wheel on back door!

Sounds like a Freelander 1.

Put a spare wheel on the back door of a Freelander 2 an you will end up with a hernia trying to get the shopping in.
Freelander 1 rear doors are hinged on the side, freelander 2 rear doors are hinged at the top. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

FL2 with spare wheel on the rear door. Although I suspect the whole assembly has to be dismounted in order to open tailgate.

or a towbar mounted beam that hinges to one side.

But yes I think that 06' V6 was a FL1

Yes it is a F1, omitted that in original post. Just thought I'd stick a quick post on here in case it might be of interest to anyone.
