Replacing the foam pad on the wheel arch

The small apron that you remove from the wheel arch to get to the cam belt has a foam pad attached, covered in black polythene (what's left of it).

I'd like to replace or recover it but can't see how to pop the clips off or find any clips that match online.

Can anyone help?

The complete panel is still available from LR parts departments and not expensive. Derek Hill

Thanks Derek. Do you have any idea of it's name or part number as it's not shown on the cat. diagram?

Sorry no, I just went in to my local dealer pre lockdown and asked for the items which at the time were listed as available. They had all of them but it was too expensive for the full set so I just got the broken ones replaced. Derek Hill

I assume you've looked to see if the part number is somewhere on the moulding itself - just a thought, I dont know if its there Jules

The part number depends on your Vin number see below.

Thanks - but the part number listed is for the full plastic moulding, not the attached foam pad (which isn't shown).

The part number is not stamped on the panel. My local factor has told me the numbers moulded on items are irrelevant to them - "probably a manufacturer's serial number". Crazy.

Actually I misread Delboy's first comment - looks like he's replaced the whole caboodle - part LR002316 in my case. I don't want to do that (all that black plastic to landfill). If the pad can't be bought separately I'll repair what I've got with gaffer tape - can't be worse than the bin bag OEM used Whistle Freelander 2 2010 [MY2011] FA 2.2 TD4 XS

exactly - its not really high tech - foam in a bag Very Happy . In fact would it make much difference to be without it, I wonder ? Jules
