 No, unless there is lots of water in the filter - due to poor quality fuel or the filter has never been changed. Changing the filter regularly is all that is required in the UK. Jules | ||

| Carel Kriek Member Since: 01 Aug 2016 Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape Posts: 134      | Replaced the fuel filter on my SD4 2013 and found to my surprise a sensor attached to the old filter. (to my surprise as many posts on the forum indicates that the FL2 do not have this sensor fitted).

Just do a search on batteries on the forum and you will see.  Since you are in a hot environment do you fill your tank to capacity?  Maybe you have moisture building up in it somehow?  Just spit balling......  | ||
