2007 rear light cluster connector part number ? ? ?

Does anyone know the part number of the connector that is attached to rear light cluster ? The bit on the light side which then attaches to the car, and is it the same for both left and right lights? Thanks in advance.

Worse than that squire... You’d be buying from China. The linked site is Aliexpress prices to for USA buyers. It is a bit like Amazon Marketplace but owned by the Alibaba Group.

I think you are going to struggle to find these connectors... I tried a few years back when fitting LED clusters to an MY10 car. I wanted to fit old style connectors to LED clusters rather than cut the plugs from the originals.

In the event, I did cut the plugs from all lamps but I’m sure I used bullet connectors so refitting of the orignals and selling the LED set on was quick and easy when the car was traded in.

I’m sure both sides are wired identically.

Just seen the powerfulUk leads... they may sell separately although not listed as such - worth asking.

its not so much the adapter that I need, just bought rear lamps where the 2013 connector has just been cut off, it seems difficult to get what I want online, I can always chop them off the current lights but I didn't want to do that.

decent price for a PAIR I thought BUT without connectors Bow down

I could not find a part number for the plug alone but the wiring loom on the rear of the light (with the plug attached) has a part number, for UK it is LR001592 I think. Other part numbers for this part are LR001593, LR023155 and LR023156. I don't know what the difference is and if all have the same plug. I guess LR001593 is for US but I don't know what the other 2 are and why they are more expensive. The wires for the LED light have different part numbers.

Another user did contact powerfuluk and he got the answer that the conversion cables are only sold together with the lights and the light were out of stock: https://www.freel2.com/forum/post391573.html

And yes, aliexpress is a Chinese webshop. Cheap, long delivery times and the products are sometimes of poor quality. I don't prefer buying there but they sometimes have items I can't find anywhere else (like the plugs). And sometimes you can buy things there that are of good quality for a very good price, you just have to wait a while until it is delivered.

But if I were you I would use the plugs from your old lights. And maybe buy new looms if you want to use the old lights again (or sell them). These looms can be found on ebay as well, there is one listed now for £25.00

thanks grumsel. . . .getting closer to what I need now . . . .I dont suppose ANYONE knows if the entire wiring loom can be swapped over, (ie from a 2007 lamp cluster to a 2013 ) I am aware that the lights I want to fit feature 2 or 3 LEDs, but is that just an LED bulb fitted to perhaps the same socket?? 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -

From memory the indicators and reverse lights are normal bulbs and tail and brake lights are complete LED units not just Led bulbs so you cannot swap the wiring. When I did mine I cut the plugs off the old lights and soldered them onto the new lights and managed to sell the old lights on Ebay for a reasonable amount as they were 2010 facelift ones.
