Oil leak?

Hi folks. Decided to life the bonnet and have a look, as I haven't had a nosey in a while. Noticed this at the back of the big pipe that goes over the engine cover (apologies, don't know it's name). Noticed it's wet with oil. I'm assuming this isn't normal, but what is that part and can I sort it myself?

Cheers

 Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental

Looks like the crankcase vent on a dpf equipped Freelander is seeping where it joins the intake air pipe. It looks as if the intake pipe has been off before as jubilee clips aren’t standard.

It does have a DPF so sounds sensible. No idea why it'd be off before but it's had so many things done it probably has been 🤣

It's getting a new diff this week so will add that to the list of things to look at.

Safe to drive until then? Learned to drive in 2011.
