Australia 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Ipanema Sand

Hi Stefan

So far it has been great. It fitted very well.

Here's a thread, I made an installation video which is on youtube.

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic34658.html

No problem with obscured vision as it sits in a very good location. I can hear the air entering the mesh when the passenger window is open. I'm planning to go in and do a little mod to the intake/ducting adapter.

A very comprehensive kit that works very well for not many bucks.

I was surprised that it's not made of plastic, but something more like plaster of paris/fibreglass - can't recall a proper name for it. Thus it can get chipped.

I'm very happy - and no cutting. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

It's made from fibreglass and normal car body filler. I have extensively modified mine , chopping it around to suit how I want it to look on my vehicle. Not saying it doesn't look good already, but I like to put my own stamp on things . I've modified it so much it probably looks a lot different to how it was originally. But my problem is I can't stop messing with it and changing other things around. When I'm eventually happy with it, I'll probably have sold the Freelander !
