Alarm Going Off - Low Battery?

Dear All
I have only used my car a couple of times in the last 3 weeks and for very short journeys.

A couple of time the alarm gone off randomly does anyone know if this could be caused by the battery running low due to lack of use?

Thanks for your help.

It’s not the bonnet alarm is it that’s the most common reason

What is the bonnet alarm please?

It doesn't sound like a full alarm ...i.e it isn't full blast

Thanks very much for the tip...

When it next goes off i will check the dash for the "bonnet open message" instead of just opening an closing the car to reset the alarm.
