Can/Should we enable a 'like' feature?

Moderators, Site Administrators, Members.

Greetings,
I also attend a forum jaguarforums. Like some others. There is a a feature I particularily 'like'. Its a 'like'. Is it possible to enable a 'like' feature?
There are so many very good posts by many on this site, I would like to present my appreciation for their inputs.

That is something that is used on the Renault forum.
Its a good idea, let's do it. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Well, You can't please all the people, all the time.
Of course no one said contributing to the counter was mandatory...

I for one, am quite conservative on my use of the option. I have learned most are.
and like @ozjeff62, I find much value in the crowd sourcing of solutions.

Well, I see its not enabled yet... perhaps another time.

Martin,

If we have to have a "like/unlike/dislike" function added can we please also have the functionality for each user to turn it, and the results display, off. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!
