Satnav - co-ordinate entry

I'm pleased to see I can use co-ordinates for entry of destinations (and even more pleased that it includes France - accepting that it will be somewhat out of date). However, it seems to only accept degrees, minutes and seconds whereas most of the POIs I would use are in decimal degrees. Is it possible to change the entry method? Ian.
