Lowline Stereo Options

Hi all,

I have the Lowline stereo in my 57 'S' and was hoping to find answers to a few questions...

There are no speakers in the dash. Does anyone know if the wiring is there for either R & L or centre? If it is, can I just plug n play speakers?

I found this quote on the Australian Land Rover Owners site - "Actually the two dash speakers are just wired in paralell to the tweeters in the doors, so you can fit them without needing to upgrade the amp & they work, would also be an improvement without going the whole hog."

Is it the same for the rear pillar speakers - if I buy the pillars with the speakers in them can I again, just plug n play?

If nothing else, I was thinking about upgrading the speakers in the doors - what size(s) fit and what's the mounting depth? Has anyone done this already and if so, what speakers did you use?[/i] 2004 TD4 Gone
