LED headlights again

I have tried several types in my 2013 HSE and the best with respect to light output and beam pattern was the KOYOSO 120watt per pair. BUT when switching from headlights to sidelights the daylight running lights also switch off. This only happens on one side but the effect was the same on different makes. So no good as headlights on auto when switching off you will lose DRL's. Anybody had the same issues or am I just the only one who has noticed.

The daytime running lights section of my headlights (2014), i.e. the round spot with 7 LEDs, only come on when the lights are set to "Off", or Auto mode in full daylight which is the same as Off. They are not lit for sidelights or for headlights. The signature strips are lit all the time.

If you have one side behaving differently to the other, sounds like you have a wiring fault somewhere.

Thanks for the comments but the problem is with the signature strips leds. The DRL's ,signature strip leds and the headlights all work correctly with normal halogen bulbs but the signature strip leds fail to come on after the LED headl lights have been turned on and then off. Problem is the same with the engine on or off. It seems turning the LED lights off upsets the canbus perhaps ?

It sounds like the LED bulbs are not producing the correct load on the system and causing the vehicle to play silly Censored on that circuit. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
