2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

Flash firmware off of car

Just wondering whether its possible to reflash the firmware for the nav screens off of the car? To me it doesn't seem likely but I swear I have read somewhere that it can be done. I have the screen out of the fl2 and want to see if I can load the jaguar xf software into it for some bench testing for a project I have going on. I see that it has the usb port on it, but I highly doubt you can use that through sdd?
