Facelift HB3 Projector Headlamps to bi xenon

Hi

Tall order but does have or know where I might obtain a right hand bi xenon projector lens unit/assembly to convert my halogen projector lights to HID? I already have the left hand side unit along with 2 ballasts but need an offside unit.

Why did you not just change to HiD bulbs using a decent kit?

Work great and a darn sight cheaper. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Wasn't sure about difficulty of fitting and quality of beam patterns with kits so felt it would be safer to go with proper Fl2
projector bowl and lens which should be a direct swap. As I already have the near side unit and 2 ballasts and D3S bulbs I was hoping someone might know of damaged headlight at a scrappy or body repairers that I could contact. I've even seen proper Fl2 new left hand units for sale at a reasonable price so you can swap from right hand drive to left hand drive for continental driving but unfortunately the supplier doesn't have right hand drive units.
When you mention using a cheaper kit is it specifically for a Fl2 headlight unit and a straight swap or is it a case of try and see? Do you by any chance have a link to a good kit?

Regards

Tony

There you go, as above and recently tried and tested Thumbs Up

Personally I must have fitted 8>10 kits in previous vehicles with halogen projector lamps and never had an issue with either MoT or performance.

Another supplier I have used frequently is HiDs4U Regards

Thanks for the info it's something I will defo have a look. What about replacement hb3/hid bulbs if one blows, are they easy to obtain without having to buy the full kit?
