United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Stornoway Grey
New Owner to a FreeLander 2.

Morning folks.

A quick hello as I've just bought myself a Freelander 2. This is my first 4WD and Land Rover. She is a 2010 TD4 E XS model in grey with 99K on the clock, 90% FSH and one old gentleman owner from new, which I think has never been off road. I was quite chuffed to find it in such good condition given the price.

The independent dealer has serviced and MOT'd the car and changed the timing belt given the age and miles .

The car for us will be used as a second work horse, we live surrounded my lanes which when flood and snow hit makes it hard for my wife to get to work being a teacher. I like to do a clay shoot and most of these are down boggy lanes, which normally means a walk from the road or risk getting my normal estate car stuck. So the Freelander should give me more options here.

After collecting her on Saturday AM and the quick drive back to Sheffield, I have to say I like the car and I'm happy with my purchase so far. I'll be along shortly with questions as I feel there is a lot to learn about owning a 4WD and it potential.

Welcome.

You might like to consider whether the car has had its Haldex serviced:-

'Options' are only limited by your build.

Cool

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Yes, a full transmission service to be 100% clear what has been done was up on my list. Now I have a recommendation, I have emailed Bell Engineering. Appreciated.
