Raised Air Intake - Snorkel - installation video

Hi all.

Very excited, I installed the Brazilian RAI on the weekend and my video is now live on my channel

Let me know what you think.

I'm pretty stoked given that I haven't seen one before and there are no installation instructions. To be honest it's all pretty straightforward. There are a few weak points that I will sort out down the track, but today it's working so I'm pretty happy.

Let Joao know you'd like one and we may get one in plastic - this one is fibreglass so may have some vulnerability in the bush.

Enjoy. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

Excellent video! Bookmarked & thank you, very helpful as I need to go over my air intake connection because I find this specific vehicle, compared to previous vehicles I have owned, the filter gets really dirty fast. BTW, the battery tray reference got my full attention until I realized you were referring to the headlight tray....... Laughing!

Excellent video Jeff! Thanks for going to the effort of doing such a thorough fitting run through👍
I’d be interested to know how it performs at highway speeds ie any wind noise if you wouldn’t mind reporting back.
Great job👍 MY15

Great video.

When you boil hoses & fittings have a couple of towels at the ready to hold the parts so you don't burn yourself. I learn with all my compressor airline connections. If you still have a problem use soapy water.

I haven't bought a snorkel. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
