2014 Td4 Stop/Start Battery what’s the difference?

Hi Dan

I’ve came across both of these batterys in the barn for a Freelander 2.

Can you explain the difference in them and which ones for my car?

2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Firenze Red

They look similar batteries - one is a Varta the other is an Exide.

Both AGM according to the label. Jules

the only difference is the brand . they are both stop/start batteries. What does came across these in the "barn 'mean , other than the obvious, and even then i don't get it .
