My usual solution to whining noises coming from the car is to ask the missus what her problem is Exclamation

Sorry..... anybody got any helpful solutions Embarassed Baltic blue XS - Alpaca Leather - 18" HSE wheels.

I had a similar thing on mine.
Turned out to be the steering fluid reservoir needed replacing. A fairly common thing apparently.

Laughing grown..... booo..... get off

Is the noise coming from the front or the back?

Obvious, but have you checked your wheel nuts for tightness, whats the wear pattern on the tyres which might give a indication of the 4 wheel alignment requiring to be done if one is over worn Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Power steering pump noise at extents of steering? Are you at or near full lock when this happens?
I've heard extraneous noises from many cars when you reach full lock, due to the power steering pushing against the 'end stop' - so to speak. It often loads the engine a little more too.

Hi Guys
I notice my 5 months old lr2 have the same problem, but it's seem to come from the shock absorber. The sound come on only when I make slow turning up or down my multi storey carpark. Creating a click click crack crack sound.

I can also vouch for the fact that I had a similar noise and my Dealer replaced the reservoir with no questions as it is a known issue.

Hi Guys
I had done another test to find out where actually the noise (click click crack crack) came from. Mad The noise came on only when i step on the brake pedal when making corners / turn.
I'm sure to huant my dealer.. Bow down ... their faithful customer.. Thumbs Up ...
