Replacement MAF Sensor supplier - price v quality

As part of ongoing issue I'm looking at replacing my MAF Sensor - its the fomoco version of the LR019830.

However, looking at prices n the interweb - including searches of Ford sites as it's a common part - I'm concerned about the quality of lower priced units, but is that a real concern?

For example LRParts have it at £30, whilst LRDirect list several from the Bearmach and BritPart in the mid £40's up to LR Branded Original at £170

From what I can gather the Bearmach part is well regarded, but who can tell - or are they all just knocked out in some counterfeit shop in China??

I would be very wary that the item for sale is a genuine Ford part. I took delivery yesterday of a throttle body from the same seller that was advertised as genuine Pierburg but it came in a plain box without any evidence that it is in fact a Pierburg item. I have written to the seller seeking clarification.

I have had one of these from this firm , yes genuine Ford, but don't waste your cash if its an attempt at curing the Freelander Hesitation/ Stuttering problem.

I’ve been in touch with the chap about the throttle body I got from him and I’m content with his helpful explanation of its provenance. On that basis, I’d also be content that his MAF sensor is genuine Ford as he says it is.

So, which of these is the quality part - and why?

https://www.lrdirect.com/LR019830-Sensor-Mass-Air-Flow/

Serious question - not trying to funny but it does illustrate the dilemma. I doubt LR have their own factory making these so they get them from somewhere and they're just badged - like washing machines and fridges. Given they are using FoMoCo branded units on a Peugeot engine they could be from anywhere. I wouldn't mind betting that the OEM LRD Workshop Approved item is the Ford unit but does that make the others inferior, substandard or dangerous? I doubt it but who knows???
